What is the process?
You will choose the package that is right for your student and we will get you scheduled to meet, either in person (if local), or virtual over Google Meet. If you prefer, I offer a free 30-minute consultation to get to see if we are a good fit. You can schedule that through my secure link. If you decide to move forward, I will send you instructions on how to schedule and pay so we can begin sessions in the coming weeks. Students will fill out an intake survey and I will guide them through beginning their application or their essay.
How do we choose the right schools?
I will analyze your academic profile and career goals to help your student identify schools that offer the best fit for their unique strengths and aspirations. I guide students with a number of data-driven tools and my own admissions expertise.
What is the essay writing process?
I get to know your student through writing and intake exercises to evaluate their writing abilities and goals. We then schedule four sessions to brainstorm, revise, and polish your student's personal essay. My approach is student-led and centered. I do not write essays for students. I give constructive feedback, guide them with questions and discussion, teach them about the appropriate use of A.I. in essay writing (which is essentially none!), and help them through the process.
How do we manage deadlines?
We create a detailed timeline to ensure your application materials are polished and submitted precisely when required by each institution.
What are the costs involved?
My fees are based on the scope of your student's individual needs, with options and multiple packages tailored to fit your budget. I try to provide as much value to families as possible, both by targeting the right schools for your student, setting expectations, and helping them narrow their college applications down to the reach, target, and safety schools so that they don't need to apply to 19 or 20 colleges. At $70-75/application, that money can add up quickly.
